For HomeownersResidential Remodels
Are you licensed, insured, and bonded?

R3BUILD is fully insured and bonded. Texas doesn't license general contractors at the state level (frankly, we wish it did) — so for any trade that legally requires a license, such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, we bring in licensed subcontractors. Every part of your project is handled by qualified, accountable professionals.

How long have you been in business, and how many projects have you completed?

We've been remodeling and building across Greater Houston since January 2016, with roughly 465 completed projects to date.

Are you a member of any industry associations?

Yes. We're active members of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), and the Texas Association of Builders (TAB), and we hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

What makes your estimates so detailed?

This is where we stand apart. Very few contractors estimate at the level of detail we do. Every estimate is fully itemized and broken down activity by activity, so there's never a question about what a portion of the work costs or exactly what's included. You get complete clarity on price and scope before any work begins — no vague lump sums, no hidden surprises.

Do you charge for estimates?

Initial estimates are always free. On larger projects, many clients then choose our Project Development & Design service — a set fee to produce detailed construction plans along with your finish and material selections. We build your final, precise estimate from those plans, and typically credit a portion of that design fee back to you once you sign a construction contract.

How do deposits and payments work?

Start dates are first-come, first-served — the sooner you formally commit, the sooner you're placed in our queue. Payment terms are set case by case and generally scale with project size:

  • Under $2,000 — paid in full upon completion
  • $2,000–$10,000 — 50% deposit, 50% on completion
  • $10,000–$75,000 — 33% deposit, 33% at partial completion, 34% on completion
  • $75,000 and above — 30% deposit, 30% at 50% completion, 30% at 90% completion, 10% on completion
How long does a typical remodel take?

Every project is different, but once construction begins, here are typical timeframes:

  • Guest / hall bathroom — 3–4 weeks
  • Master bathroom — 4–6 weeks
  • Kitchen — 6–8 weeks (kitchens usually tie into surrounding spaces)
  • Whole-home remodel (kitchen & baths) — 8–10 weeks
  • Home addition — 10–12 weeks
  • Patio cover — 4–6 weeks
Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes — we handle all required permits and inspections for your project.

Who is my point of contact during the project?

During construction, your day-to-day point of contact is your assigned project superintendent. Cory, the owner, stays involved throughout for design input, execution, and quality control — personally making sure the finished work matches the design intent.

What if I want to change something mid-project?

No stress. The sooner you tell us the better, but we don't turn change orders into a hassle or pad them with the inflated markups some contractors charge. Because we stay so closely involved in day-to-day communication, we tend to flag the stages where changes usually come up and check in with you — heading off rework before it happens. We never want you looking back wishing you'd mentioned that "one change." We want you thrilled with the result.

Can I see my project before it is built?

Yes — through our Project Development & Design service we create 3D renderings and detailed plans, so you can see and refine your space before construction ever starts.

What areas do you serve, and do you warranty your work?

We serve Spring, The Woodlands, and the Greater Houston area, and we back every residential project with a 3-year workmanship warranty.

For Businesses & Property OwnersCommercial & Multifamily
Do you take on commercial and multifamily projects?

Yes. Alongside our residential work, we handle commercial build-outs, commercial remodels, and multifamily renovations throughout Greater Houston.

Can you handle the design for our commercial space?

Yes. We produce in-house designs that we develop and fine-tune with you, then send to architects and engineers for final review and stamps as required.

Can you work with our architect, or do you provide one?

Either way. We can work directly with your architecture firm, or handle everything in-house through the architects we regularly partner with.

How long does a commercial build-out take?

For a brand-new space with no prior tenant, a good expectation is 10–14 weeks for total completion — including Certificate of Occupancy and final TDLR / ADA compliance inspections. Remodels of existing spaces that had a prior tenant can often be completed substantially faster, since much of the main utility infrastructure can be reused.

Do you handle all inspections, including compliance inspections?

Yes. Beyond standard building and fire/life-safety inspections, we can assist with everything — including inspections by a landlord's third-party inspectors (when required) and ADA compliance inspections.

Do you help with multifamily CapEx planning?

Yes. On multifamily properties we can assist with budgeting your annual capital-expenditure (CapEx) improvements — helping you optimize spending for the greatest impact on your (or your clients') property.

What warranty do you offer on commercial work?

We back commercial and multifamily projects with a 1-year workmanship warranty.

Water, Fire & Storm DamageInsurance Claim Restoration
Do you handle water, fire, and storm damage restoration?

Yes. We restore homes and businesses after water, fire, and storm damage, coordinating every trade involved to bring your property back to its full condition.

Do you work directly with my insurance adjuster?

Yes — we can work directly with your adjuster on the settlement of your claim.

What if the adjuster's estimate misses or underpays for damage?

This is a specialty of ours. We analyze the adjuster's estimate for shortcomings and clearly outline the missing items for a supplement. Approval usually hinges on properly explaining why an activity isn't already covered under the original line items — and preparing exactly that documentation is what we do.

Do you handle emergency mitigation, like water extraction or board-up?

No — we don't perform emergency mitigation work, as we believe doing so would be a conflict of interest. We're glad to refer you to reputable local companies that specialize in those services.

How quickly can you respond, and when should repairs begin?

We can respond very quickly. That said, we advise waiting to begin repairs until your adjuster has completed their site visit and written the initial estimate, so we can verify any needed supplements. Starting too early means relying on "before" photos to prove deficiencies rather than documenting them in person — waiting protects your claim.

Do you help with the insurance claim overall?

Absolutely. From documenting damage to coordinating supplements and rebuilding, we work right alongside you through the process so nothing gets overlooked and your property is restored properly.
